Exploring the Kaunergrat Nature Park

We present a winter loop hike featuring three unique highlights.

The first highlight is the starting and finishing point of this hike: the Kaunergrat Nature Park House. It is located around ten kilometres from the Hotel Post, in Fließ at an altitude of 1,600 metres above sea level. It boasts a viewing platform with a breathtaking panorama and houses the multimedia exhibition “Vertikal 3000”, an interactive hike that appeals to all five senses and illustrates the different habitats in the nature park.

Next up is the second highlight: a two-and-a-half-hour loop hike to the idyllic Harbe pond. The 5.4-kilometre walk takes you through a picturesque winter forest. Keep your eyes peeled: if you pay attention, you might just discover wildlife tracks or maybe even spot an animal in its natural habitat.
