My perfect Skiday

My guide to happiness

What actually makes a perfect day's skiing? Is it the delicious breakfast at the hotel buffet, or the magnificent view of the surrounding mountains from your room? Or is it the view of the skiing itself in a dreamlike natural setting with an enjoyable ‘refreshment stop’? Or maybe you're looking forward to the soothing relaxation in the hotel's wellness area and/or the delicious dinner with a feel-good factor?

See for yourself...

The morning starts magically

Freshly rested and full of anticipation, I look out of the window, my gaze wandering over the mountain scenery of the Tyrolean Oberland. So I get out of bed and get ready for the day. Breakfast first:  I start my day of indulgence with a sumptuous breakfast buffet. Fragrant coffee, oven-warm pastries and regional specialities as well as plenty of healthy options give me the energy I need for the slopes. Well-fuelled, I grab my ski equipment from the heated ski cellar - and off I go!

Variety and good accessibility

Hop on the ski bus, which starts right outside the front door, or take my own car to one of the surrounding ski areas. Six top ski areas are practically on the doorstep. This means unlimited fun on the slopes in the border triangle of Austria, Italy and Switzerland.

Fun on the slopes and pure joie de vivre

The sun is shining, the snow is crunching and the view of the glistening mountain peaks takes my breath away.

I board one of the state-of-the-art gondolas or ski lifts that take me comfortably to the heart of the ski area. Once at the top, I am greeted by clear, fresh mountain air and a breathtaking panorama spreads out before me.

Refreshment on the mountain

At lunchtime, the cosy mountain huts invite me to take a break. I treat myself to a hot chocolate, a hearty soup or a traditional dish such as Kaiserschmarrn. With renewed energy, I head back onto the slope until the final downhill run at the end of the day.

Relaxation in the evening

After this eventful day of skiing, I return to the hotel tired. Pure relaxation awaits me here. I immerse myself in the heated outdoor pool, enjoy the cosy warmth of the sauna area and treat my strained muscles to the soothing warmth of infrared radiation and come to rest. The tiredness of the day gives way to a feeling of complete contentment.

Culinary finale

In the evening, a 5-course menu crowns my perfect day of skiing. The hotel kitchen enchants me with regional and international specialities, accompanied by exquisite wines. As I reflect on the day, I am already making plans for the next day of skiing...
