• At the Kaunertal Valley Museum, you can discover fascinating details about the valley’s mining history, the early days of Alpinism, and the rise in tourism. The museum showcases a diverse collection of everyday items gathered by the museum’s owners, offering a glimpse into bygone eras. This private museum is located in the campsite administration building next to the Hotel Weisseespitze in Platz, where you can also enquire about opening hours.
• The Kaltenbrunn Pilgrimage Church could not be in a more idyllic location: in the middle of the forest, at the foot of the majestic peaks. Comprehensively restored in 1982, the church now showcases its stunning ceiling frescoes by Franz Laukas, an 18th-century baroque artist from Prutz.
